Not sure why, but about a year and a half ago I just stopped playing guitar. I got deeply into photography, which I did on my morning walks with the dogs. Then I would spend a couple hours, editing the photos and posting them to my smumug account. And then I stopped taking pictures. I started writing my memoir trilogy. I finished the first book recently and now I find myself playing guitar again. I seem to want to focus on one activity at a time these days.
Today I quickly recorded a few chord changes onto my iPhone. And then I slapped a few photos from my camera roll onto a timeline above it. No forethought, no goal, just instinct. And ended up with this slideshow.
Sometimes a lack of planning can be a blessing. You end up with a snapshot of a moment in time. In some accidental manner, this little video could be called, “Epitaph.”
